Question: I'm new to apple/iphone....ineed some basic info? (Posted by: Brady Cunningham on 2010-07-27 17:03:01) Hey guys, i finally got the epiphany that Apple clearly is the best in everything they create, so i was thinking about converting and getting the iPhone 4, but i had some questions about the costs? since my upgrade is available with AT&T, will i be able to keep my current calling/texting plan? will i only have to pay for the $15 or $30/mo. data plan? (along with the iPhone price)? since i dont have a data plan on my phone currently. (everyone else in my family plan does, just not my phone) bascially: will i be able to keep my current calling and texting plans and just pay for whatever apple's data plan is and what is their data plan? lol... thank you for the info! -BC |

Posted by: telanis9 on 2010-07-27, 17:06:08 I depends on what exactly your current plan is. It might have to change slightly because the new smartphone plans are different, but you shouldn't have to pay more (except for the data of course). |

Also since your family plan has a data plan on it you may want to check, but if it is the old unlimited plan you may be able to get on that instead of getting the new data plan. Its worth asking AT&T. |
